Websites, blogs, and video logs?

Friends,

Do you have any information or tips I could use in setting up websites, blogs, and video logs? Remember, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to computers. My computer knowledge is pretty much limited to e-mails and googling stuff. :-) So, please go easy on me.

On a side note, I recently saw a PowerPoint presentation where a pastor was able to play a video on a slide what I'd describe as a picture in picture format. That blew me away. Do you have any idea on how to do this?

Blessings,

Nick
