I am very excited about this forum. This forum helps all of us to communicate with each other more efficiently - all for Lord's glory!

I am 2nd Vice President of SBCD (in second term), in addition to being Sunday School Superintendent (effective on Sept. 7th) for Deaf Ministry at First Baptist Church of Arnold. I went to Central Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis from 1951 to 1963; mainstreamed at Affton High School, 1963-1967. (Movie star John Goodman was freshman there when I graduated). Graduated from Drury University in Springfield, MO in 1971 with B.A. in Biology & Chemistry with minors in Geology, Physics & Mathematics. I spent 1 year at University of Reading in England (40 miles west of London, 30 miles south of Oxford) in the field of Virology (study of virus), 1971-1972.

Worked as Chemist and Microbiologist at a St. Louis hospital, 1972-1979. Worked as Cartographer/Geospatial Analyst at U.S. Department of Defense' Top-Secret National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, 1979-2004. Retired in 2004. Presently an instructor in Non Verbal Communications/ASL1, 2 & 3 at Southwestern Illinois College, Belleville, IL, 2004- present. Also I am Sorenson VRS trainer - installing VP's in MO and IL area.
