My name is Greg Johannsen of Seymour, TN (near Knoxville, TN). I am retired from Tennessee Valley Authority, where I had worked for 30 years, and am now the Interim Pastor for the Deaf Congregation of First Baptist Church of Knoxville, TN. (Our former Pastor Dr Jerry Seale resigned last August 3.) My regular office hours in the church office are Mondays, 11 am to 3 pm, and Wednesdays, 1 to 8 pm. Starting in January 2009, we, FBC, will start a Pastor Search Committee. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for the Deaf Pastor position. Also, I ask that you pray for our deaf congregation and the church as a whole.
